Man shot dead in Little Italy narrowly dodged earlier attempt on his life

B.C. man Farogh Sadat, 37, was shot dead near a bakery in the Corsa Italia neighbourhood last Friday. His life almost ended 5 1/2 years ago, when he came under fire outside his parents home in an attack that killed a companion. He did jail time for a 2014 kidnapping, in which one of his co-accused impersonated a police officer.
