‘Icy White North’ network busted in first ever cryptocurrency takedown, York police say

York Regional police are walking tall today after busting a Dark Web group called Icy White North that operated out of a Mississauga condo and ran a cross-Canada marketplace for hot cars, weapons and plenty of drugs, including fentanyl. They also bagged some cryptocurrency, which is notoriously hard to catch, as it requires multiple passwords and can be moved in a flash.
