A couple months ago, Donald Trump pardoned Honduras’ drug trafficking former Prime Minister, Juan Orlando Hernandez, writing on X, “MAKE HONDURAS GREAT AGAIN” after Hernandez was sentenced in a U.S. court to 45 years in prison for helping move 500 tons of cocaine. Hernandez served less than 1 1/2. Trump’s past rhetoric – and current deeds – haunt him as he paints himself as anti-drug crusader.
